Art Director

Pay/Salary: $40-60/hr / $100-120K DOE

One of our consumer goods e-comm and retail clients is looking for an Art Director to join their team for an all-new contract position with the eventual goal of this person joining the company full-time.

This Art Director must be a creative leader and visionary with proven agency/in-house experience developing omni-channel campaign concepts and big ideas, developing mood/story boards, scripts for digital/social video, photography, art direction, and more.

The Art Director will report to the team’s Creative Director and leadership team and be responsible for partnering with external agency/production partners; as well as be leaned on to leverage creative AI tools that help drive efficiencies and the team’s capacity to handle increased workloads.

Ideal Art Director candidates will have:
– At least 7-10 years of agency or in-house art direction, design, and creative experience
– BA degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
– Strong online portfolio showcasing digital campaigns – preferably for consumer goods, fashion, apparel, retail, etc.
– Must be a conceptual thinker capable of leveraging AI tools to scale creativity and output
– Team player, able to roll with the punches, self-starter, eager to work in an ambitious (sometimes unstructured) entrepreneurial environment.
– Able and willing to take on basic copywriting responsibilities as well
