Position Summary
247Security Inc is seeking a travelling sales associate. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of (but not necessarily) all of the following attributes: 1) Experience selling into a targeted vertical market 2) A background selling technology to a client base with diverse technical expertise 3) Knowledge of the public sector purchasing process 4) Experience with client relationship development leading to sales and resale 5) Independent and disciplined 6) Accustom to standard use of Microsoft Office tools and CRM software 7) Trade show participation including setup and breakdown. Experience in the transportation sector/school bus will be a significant asset and is preferred but not required.
This opportunity will be well suited to a responsible individual looking for a fresh new product line and pleasant marketplace, or a recent university graduate determined to become a sales leader within the next two years. The candidate should expect that their success will be reflected in their compensation as there is no cap on commissions.
Minimum of Associates or Bachelor’s degree required
Key Areas of Responsibility
Prospecting and Prospect/Customer Management
· Working independently, canvasing an existing customer base for new sales opportunities. Researching a vertical market for new sales opportunities. Working with marketing to promote the brand.
Trade Shows/ Conferences
· Be able to sit/stand/walk for several hours at a time
· Attend trade shows during the year mainly for your assigned states
· Attend regional or national tradeshows, regardless of territory, if assigned
· Move and carry packages up to 25 pounds as needed during working situations
· Plan/schedule/coordinate with SVP/Dir/Marketing Manager/Admin, all trade show times/locations/materials required to attend and manage a trade show

· Be able to sit/stand/walk for hours at a time in all weather conditions
· Move and carry packages up to 10 pounds as needed during working situations
· Proficiency in typing, grammar, electronic communication and written notetaking
· Proficiency in relevant computer applications: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, Video conferencing, etcetera
Expectations:
· Safe and reliable transportation
· Ability to travel by air as frequently as needed
- Provide input to bid requests and RFPs in your territory
· 50% travel is expected to canvas your assigned territory
· Aggressively use the internet to target and establish priorities
- Building and maintaining pipeline as well as customer retention
· Be comfortable in business executive attire talking to executives as well as working on the shop floor.
· Be comfortable presenting products and services to both large and small groups.
· Make sales appointments, arrange group meetings, manage travel, and report activity within our CRM, to the admin staff as needed
- Work with personnel to manage needs or issues that may arise through onboarding a new customer. Assistance will be there as needed to support these efforts.
· Home office time will generally be spent organizing future weeks, setting appointments with prospects and communicating with existing prospects and dealers and re-sellers
Compensation
Base (bi-monthly) Commission (monthly)
There is no limit on commissions. It is commensurate with sales growth of your territory.
