We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a passion for golf to lead our Minnetonka Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the golf industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Sales Managers generally work 40-45 hours a week in a varied schedule, working daytime, as well as evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 sales team members
- Deliver superior customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Streamline operations by effectively implementing and maintaining core company processes
- Foster a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Substantial sales experience, golf or retail
- Vast knowledge of golf equipment and industry
- Demonstrated customer-centric approach
- Outstanding communications skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of golfers and colleagues
- Excellent time management, delegation, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of management experience
- 5 years of sales experience
- Comprehensive understanding of golf - the equipment, the industry and the game
