About the Job
- Assist the Project Manager in managing administrative and technical requirements including contract administration, change order processing, submittals, purchasing, project budgets, cost coding, resource allocation, and team responsibility matrixes.
- Attend all mandatory project planning meetings.
- Maintain a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer needs and expectations.
- Ensure projects are completed in a safe, profitable, and timely manner as well as meeting the expected level of quality.
- Inspect the site; review and/or coordinate design reviews for various disciplines, review for code compliance and adherence to contract requirements.
- Recommend approval or rejection of submittals as appropriate; monitor progress against schedule and delivery dates.
- Prepare project correspondence including RFIs, letters, and written notices to owners, subcontractors, and suppliers as necessary.
- Track the progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- High energy level, enthusiasm, and drive to excel.
- Strong level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office-based programs.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work a 25% travel schedule.
- Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines (self-directed).
