Job Description:
The Project Manager assists in all phases of project management including design, construction, quality control, staffing, and budget management. He/she will be responsible for assisting the project manager on multiple projects. He/she will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Owners on projects of varying size and scope. Projects will vary from $1M to $50M.
Job Duties:
- Oversee administrative and technical tasks such as contract management, change orders, submittals, purchasing, budgets, cost coding, and resource allocation.
- Attend all required project planning meetings to ensure alignment.
- Focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations and ensuring project success.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, profitably, on time, and with the required quality standards.
- Inspect sites, review design for compliance, approve/reject submittals, track progress against goals, and manage project correspondence and documentation.
Job Requirements:
• Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office-based programs.
• Work experience developing, tracking, and updating CPM schedules, RFIs, submittals, payment analysis, review of ongoing work at the site, attendance at project meetings with customers, and project coordination with the customer.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management (medium to high voltage distribution projects and/or substation construction and/or utility scale solar).
• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, will consider Civil Engineering or Construction Management with consummate experience.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
