3G Productions is a multi-faceted live entertainment production company, headquartered in Las Vegas with substantial operations in Los Angeles. 3G owns high-end professional audio, lighting, video, and rigging equipment that it rents out to and operates for concert promotors, bands, live performance venues, casinos, and corporations. Additionally, 3G specializes in project management, design, and installation of professional production equipment for large scale performance venues and sports arenas.
General Tasks/Duties:
- In conjunction with the LA Warehouse Manager, create SOPs on warehouse procedures.
- Responsible for creating job descriptions, hiring / firing, and training of subordinates.
- Scheduling and managing all Shop Labor in Las Vegas.
- Report, manage and approve all payroll in the warehouse.
- Oversee the daily workflow of warehouse operations and personnel.
- Maintain clean, orderly and organized warehouse.
- Manage the location of all inventory in the shop.
- Maintain proper supplies, working gear in the shop.
- Actively work with sales and help manage sub rental needs, including equipment, vehicles, and work in conjunction with Logistics and LA Warehouse Manager.
- Manage Las Vegas drivers and fleet operations.
- Oversee the daily workflow of warehouse operations and personnel.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. Conduct regular safety audits, training sessions, and inspections to identify and address potential hazards, maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards, and foster a culture of safety awareness throughout the facility.
- Become a Flex Software master; Manager equipment, sub-rentals, repairs, etc. in Flex flawlessly.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained to the standards set across the company.
- Work in junction with Director of Purchasing & Inventory Management to ensure all non-working equipment is addressed / fixed.
- Drive trucks / vans as necessary to pick up / drop off equipment at show site or vendors’ warehouse.
- Manage all incoming / outgoing shipping / receiving.
- Interface with department heads to manage space in shop and prepping / de-prepping needs.
- Interface with Warehouse Manager in LA to ensure consistency in shop organization, supplies, and gear maintenance.
- Such other duties as may be determined and assigned by 3G.
Qualification and Experience:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the live events industry, specifically in managing lighting, audio, rigging, and video equipment.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team, with strong organizational and delegation skills.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of live event equipment, preferably lighting, audio, rigging, and video systems.
- Inventory Management: Experience with inventory management software and practices, ensuring accurate tracking and control of equipment.
- Logistics and Planning: Strong logistical planning skills, with experience in coordinating the prep, distribution and return of equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to managing changing priorities and demands.
- Physical Demands: Will frequently lift and move 50-100 lbs.
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred (required by company if hired)
- Safety Certification: Certification or training in warehouse safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA compliance.
Schedule/Hours of Work
- Position is based and operated out of Las Vegas NV. (Warehouse)
- Variable; Weekday is normal business hours; Weekends are scheduled on an as needed basis.
- Hours will fluctuate depending on demand.
- Travel: Less than 5% annually.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 (DOE), submissions must have salary requirements included.
