Forklift Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.

Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Houston TX 77020
Shift: 2 Shifts - (Morning ) 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM AND ( Evening) 2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory
• Perform order picking and packing duties as needed
• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating equipment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners
• Knowledge of distribution center operations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Forklift: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Houston, TX 77020 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Houston, TX 77020: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
