Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Duties
- Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the social well-being of clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Uphold resident rights and dignity while respecting individual preferences and choices.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function, especially for those in memory care or long-term care settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Qualifications
- Experience in direct support roles, home health care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response procedures is required.
- Familiarity with resident rights and long-term care standards is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds safely while assisting clients.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Certification in CPR or first aid is required at the time of hire.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
