Overview
The Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency (4CORE) seeks a highly organized, motivated, and community-oriented individual to coordinate clean transportation programs in Southwest Colorado. As the Clean Transportation Program Coordinator, you will be pivotal in implementing and managing programs promoting clean, sustainable transportation solutions such as electric vehicles (EVs), eBikes, and charging infrastructure. This role requires a passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to improving the local community's transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Implementation:

  • Coordinate clean transportation initiatives, including EV adoption, eBike programs, charging infrastructure, and other sustainable transportation projects.
  • Support the development of new transportation programs and strategies that align with 4CORE’s mission and community needs.
  • Ensure that each program operates on schedule and meets key objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day logistics of programs, including coordinating with vendors, partners, and participants.
  • Track and monitor program performance, including the collecting qualitative and quantitative data on clean transportation programs.

Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key community stakeholders, including local governments, businesses, schools, and residents.
  • Conduct outreach to encourage community participation in clean transportation programs, using creative strategies to engage diverse audiences.
  • Act as a point of contact for community members seeking information about available transportation programs, incentives, and resources.
  • Organize and facilitate public events, webinars, and workshops to promote clean transportation initiatives and educate the community.

Funding Support & Grant Administration:

  • Support the identification and application process for grants and funding opportunities aligned with clean transportation programs.
  • Assist in preparing grant proposals, including tracking program budgets, collecting required documentation, and ensuring compliance with grant terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures, program activities, and outcomes for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with the Transportation Program Manager to ensure that programs meet funder requirements and align with the goals of 4CORE’s broader transportation strategy. Program Evaluation & Reporting:
  • Regularly collect data and feedback from program participants to evaluate the success of clean transportation initiatives.
  • Use data to inform ongoing program improvements and to make recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Aid in preparing monthly reports on program progress and results for funders.

Marketing & Public Relations:

  • Collaborate with the Communication Manager to develop promotional materials for clean transportation programs, including newsletters, social media posts, and press releases.
  • Promote the benefits of clean transportation, such as cost savings, environmental impact, and health benefits, through targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Help ensure that all public-facing materials accurately reflect program goals and objectives and meet the expectations of funders and participants.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders, including local government, community organizations, and residents.
  • Experience in program coordination, including managing logistics, timelines, and multiple moving parts.
  • Familiarity with clean transportation technologies, including electric vehicles, eBikes, charging infrastructure, and other sustainable mobility options.
  • Ability to track and report on program data and performance metrics and use that information to assess program effectiveness.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Drive for data tracking and reporting.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in environmental sustainability or clean energy programs, with a particular focus on transportation.
  • Familiarity with grant writing, funding proposals, and reporting requirements for public or nonprofit organizations.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation to support program outreach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $43,200.00 per year
