DevOps Field Engineer

4DV ANALYTICS is looking for DevOps Field Engineer to join our DevOps team.  The candidate will be working with a senior company officer and supporting customer operations at customer facilities and in the field locations (CONUS) using new techniques and emerging technologies to support customer missions.   Join a growing, leading-edge company doing big-data geospatial processing and analysis for top-tier government and commercial partners.

Required:    

• Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu and/or Redhat) 
• Familiarity with or willing to learn GIT version control system 
• Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes) 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize   
• Strong interdisciplinary problem-solving skills   
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• This position requires occasional travel 
• Willingness to apply for a government security clearance 

  
Preferred (Not Required):  

• Configuration Management or Infrastructure as Code experience (ex. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) 
• Experience compiling open source software 
• Mesh Networking and VPN Software experience (ex. Tailscale, Zerotier, Openvpn) 
• Familiarity with a structured programming language; such as Python, Node.js 
• A Secret security clearance is a plus
