At 57 Concrete LLC, a leading ready-mix concrete distribution company, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support.
We seek someone with a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and discretion, who is also open to incorporating new strategies to enhance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, recording, and reconciling accounts payable data.
- Review and record supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Prepare vendor payments and coordinate payment scheduling.
- Reconcile statements with suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all transactions.
- Generate financial reports detailing accounts payable status.
- Communicate with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing issues.
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years of prior Accounts Payable experience (preferred).
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
