As a facilities manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen, you can use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will modernize the Department of Defense. We need someone like you who is eager to work on complex projects that’ll enhance and improve our military.  

 

On our team, you’ll manage challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you’ll oversee a team to develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects in the defense industry.

In this role, you’ll closely impact the Department of Defense by managing facility use and employment. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You’ll Work On: 

• Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in department of defense facilities. 

• Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for military missions in the Pacific. 

• Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.

• Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. 

• Advise defense clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements.

• Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.

You Have:   

• 5 years of experience with DoD facilities and installations engineering   

• Experience with construction project management and facility operations  

• Secret clearance   

• Bachelor's degree

 

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with drafting, reviewing, and analyzing operational requirements or proposing changes to BFRs, facility use, and facility assignments data

• Experience in assisting with review of Basic Criteria Packages (BCPs), collateral equipment identification and budgeting, and project execution to ensure compliance with the Master Plan

• Knowledge of USG planning standards and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs)   

• Ability to maintain consistent interface with multiple stakeholders, coordinate and facilitate workshops to develop plans, and maintain planning schedules   

• Top Secret  clearance

• Master's degree  

• Project Management Professional or other facility and infrastructure domain Certification   

 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
