Position Overview
The Director of Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and overall success of the company’s transportation divisions, including Dispatch, Quality Assurance (QA), Airport Markets, and Limo services. This role ensures seamless service delivery, compliance with safety regulations, optimization of fleet and personnel resources, and continuous improvement in operational performance. The director will work closely with the COO and executive leadership to align transportation strategies with business goals and financial objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute transportation strategies that align with the company’s overall growth objectives and operational priorities.
- Oversee Dispatch, QA, Airport Markets, and Limo services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to service standards.
- Implement best practices in fleet management, route optimization, and cost efficiency to enhance profitability and sustainability.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on efficiency, safety, and customer service.
- Establish clear performance metrics (KPIs) for Dispatch, QA, Airport Markets, and Limo, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to meet service demands while optimizing labor costs.
Quality Assurance, Compliance & Safety
- Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols across all transportation divisions to ensure regulatory compliance and service excellence.
- Maintain DOT, FAA, and other transportation compliance requirements, working closely with internal teams to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, minimize service disruptions, and address operational inefficiencies.
Financial & Budget Management
- Develop and manage the annual transportation budget, ensuring cost control and revenue optimization.
- Analyze operational costs, revenue streams, and financial reports to identify opportunities for profitability and efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between transportation operations and executive leadership, providing strategic recommendations to the COO and CEO.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and key partners.
- Collaborate with fleet vendors, technology providers, and maintenance teams to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Technology & Innovation
- Lead the integration of advanced transportation technologies, GPS tracking, and dispatch software to streamline operations.
- Evaluate and implement automation and digital solutions to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging new innovations in fleet management, route optimization, and sustainability.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, or logistics with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven success overseeing multiple transportation divisions, ideally in airport markets, luxury transportation, or large-scale fleet operations.
- Strong experience in P&L management, cost control, and strategic planning.

Additional Information
- This role may require travel to operational sites and airport locations.
Availability outside of standard business hours may be necessary to address urgent operational matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
