Our client, a lobbying and educational organization with focuses on environmental issues, is hiring for an Email and Web Manager to join their talented team. This role plays a crucial part in the organization's overall success, helping to deliver and execute email campaigns and written web content that drives people to action.
This organization operates on a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday. They are hybrid (2 days in-office) and can be based out of either Oakland, Sacramento, or Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy, maintain calendar, create content, manage email databases, and grow engagement for the email campaigns.
- Manage website strategy, write content, drive traffic, and collaborate with teams for updates.
- Oversee multi-department projects, maintain timelines, and liaise with developers.
- Implement SEO best practices, manage Google Analytics, and propose data-driven strategies.
- Build and manage grassroots donor programs, and drive online fundraising efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years experience in online organizing, email advocacy, and digital project management.
- Proven track record in growing email lists, creating content, and leading digital projects.
- Experience with grassroots fundraising, managing websites, and implementing SEO.
- Proficiency in platforms like WordPress, Google Analytics, and more.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
