A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PLUMBING ESTIMATOR - ESTIMATION SPECIALIST
In this role, you will begin your day at our La Habra office, working closely with the director of sales and business development manager to review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and gather the necessary information for accurate estimates. Your expertise will be essential as you prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for trenchless and commercial plumbing services, meticulously interpreting construction plans and project specifications.
Throughout the day, you will calculate project costs-including materials, labor, and subcontractor services-while maintaining organized records of all estimates and proposals. Collaboration with our sales and business development teams will ensure alignment with our bid strategies and client expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMERCIAL PLUMBING ESTIMATOR - ESTIMATION SPECIALIST
- Experience in construction estimating, particularly in CIPP, SIPP, pipe bursting, trenchless technologies, or commercial plumbing
- Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position works Monday to Friday, with typical hours of 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, depending on workload. Occasional weekend work may be required for urgent matters.
