Duties
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Kronos or Taleo for managing candidate information and tracking progress.
- Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating logistics between candidates and hiring teams.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in recruiting to enhance the recruitment process.
- Support internal recruiting efforts by maintaining relationships with existing employees and promoting open positions.
- Participate in executive recruiting initiatives as needed, ensuring a high standard of candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist HR projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Currently, the position is remote, but it will eventually transition to a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days at home.
- Must be open to work extended hours.
Experience
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Experience in technical recruiting or collaboration.
- Strong research skills to identify potential candidates and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with candidates and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- Previous experience in internal recruiting or using Paychex software is advantageous but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong emphasis on recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office
