What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2022 Summer Temp Program position at A-dec?
Overview
A-dec’s Summer Temporary program was created by Joan Austin to give meaningful, real-life work experience to local students during the summer. We’re currently hiring for multiple full-time positions throughout our beautiful campus. The majority of these opportunities are in Manufacturing, where you’ll gain hands-on experience building high-end dental equipment for customers all over the world. These full-time opportunities exist on days, swing and weekend shifts. Gain relevant work experience with one of Oregon’s Most Admired companies!
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- To ensure adherence to A-dec Safety policies, those 16 & 17 are prohibited from working in several areas within our Manufacturing facilities.
- Must have proof of the Right to Work and evidence relating to associated local legislative requirements (EMEA only)
Availability
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Other Willingness Requirements
- Willing to work in an environment with bright lights
- Willing to work in an environment that is loud
- Willing to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
- Willing to work as part of a team and also complete some work independently
- Willing to wear all necessary PPE for the area I’m assigned to
