Role Description:
This is a full-time Sous Chef role located on-site in Oklahoma City. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Chef De Cuisine in kitchen operations, supervising the culinary team, creating new dishes, and ensuring food quality and consistency. Other tasks include inventory management, menu planning, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions and 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Team leadership and communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 80 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
