We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at A Leap In Learning, LLC. This role is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for both children and staff. Your contributions will help maintain an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the childcare facilities.
- Assist in the development of preventative maintenance schedules for facilities upkeep.
- Execute commercial painting tasks required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Conduct repairs on equipment and fixtures as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all maintenance areas.
- Collaborate with staff to address any maintenance concerns promptly. Prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs made and parts used.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks.
- Ability to maintain equipment and facilities efficiently and effectively.
- Proficiency in English communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand basic systems and perform repairs.
- Customer service skills to interact positively with staff and parents when necessary.
- Experience in painting techniques for maintaining property aesthetics.
