A warm and welcoming family in Knoxville, MD, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time nanny to care for their infant son. The family is flexible with scheduling and is open to different arrangements, such as four 10-hour days or a standard 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for their infant son, fostering his growth and development.
- Create an enriching and stimulating environment that supports early childhood learning.
- Follow the family’s preferred routine while being adaptable to their needs.
- Assist with light household tasks related to the baby.
- Let the family’s three small dogs outside when parents are not home.
- Maintain flexibility for occasional family visits.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has training, education, or life experience in child development.
- Creates a caring and engaging atmosphere for the child.
- Is comfortable in a household with pets and can tolerate some noise, as parents can work from home
- Speaks a second language (not required).
- Is reliable, organized, and adaptable.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in infant and toddler care.
- At least 2-3 professional references or letters of recommendation showcasing childcare experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to become certified).
- Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record for any transportation needs.
