Position Overview
The Direct Support Service Coordinator for A Safe Place (ASP) plays a critical role in providing trauma-informed care and comprehensive support to survivors of trafficking and exploitation. This position is responsible for case management, life skills development, and fostering personal growth through individualized plans and supportive relationships. The role requires collaboration with therapists, team members, and community partners to connect program members with resources and tools for sustainable independence. The standard work week is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional flexibility based on program needs.

Key Responsibilities
Case Management and Member Support:
· Build and model healthy, trusting relationships with program members using trauma-informed care principles.
· Develop and implement individualized life skills plans and success strategies tailored to each member’s goals and needs.
· Provide case management services, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in Salesforce.
· Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Residential members (twice weekly) and OC/Supportive Housing members (weekly).
· Research, evaluate, and connect members to appropriate community resources and support programs.
· Collaborate with therapists and other staff to coordinate weekly schedules and care plans.
· Provides support for after hour emergencies & needs once the Residential Program opens in 2026.
Program Coordination and Collaboration:
· Facilitate weekly peer groups and life skills workshops focused on empowerment and skill-building.
· Participate in weekly care team and Coordinated Entry meetings to align on member progress and community collaboration.
· Implement and oversee the ASP Incentive Program to encourage member engagement and progress.
· Lead members in skill-building activities, including therapeutic initiatives such as Rice Bag production.
Outreach and Organizational Contributions:
· Assist in outreach efforts to establish and strengthen community partnerships.
· Represent A Safe Place in monthly community partner meetings.
· Support members during field trips, ensuring a safe and supportive experience.
· Facilitate community partner Trafficking & Trauma trainings.
Other Duties
Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director to meet the needs of the organization.

Preferred Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, direct support services, or related roles.
· Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and experience supporting survivors of trafficking, trauma, or exploitation (strongly preferred).
· Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools, or demonstrated ability to learn.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; reliable transportation is required.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Work Hours: 35 Hour Workweek, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Occasional availability outside regular hours may
be needed to meet member/organizational needs.
Work Environment: Work primarily in an office setting, with occasional off-site responsibilities such as transporting members to appointments and events.
