WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Roofing Superintendent works 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday .
In this dynamic role, you oversee all aspects of our roofing projects to ensure we complete quality work that meets the client's expectations and our high standards. You're on-site, coordinating labor schedules, managing crews, and working with subcontractors to deliver excellent results. Attentively, you supervise daily job site operations, ensuring that all roofing crews and subcontractors use their time and materials efficiently. You conduct regular safety meetings and ensure workers are properly equipped. Quality control is another important aspect of the job, so you attentively monitor workmanship and promptly address any issues or discrepancies you notice.
To keep job progress on track, you develop project schedules and coordinate with vendors to ensure all tools and equipment are delivered on time. You stay on top of our budget and work with the production manager to keep our spending within range. Throughout the project, you provide regular updates to clients and internal staff, keeping everyone on the same page. You keep your team motivated throughout the job, resolve disputes, and provide additional training as needed. When the project's done, you complete accurate documentation, perform final inspections, and properly close everything out.
