We are looking for Marketing & PR Manager (all genders) for our team!
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive marketing and PR strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Plan and coordinate exhibitions and trade shows, including logistical arrangements, booth layout, personnel management, and liaising with vendors and agencies.
- Manage relationships with service providers such as booth builders, press agencies, and marketing firms, ensuring quality delivery of services.
- Oversee translation and proofreading of marketing materials between German and English.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Sales teams to develop effective marketing tools tailored for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Create and execute an annual marketing plan specifically focused on Energy Storage Systems (ESS) products.
- Generate compelling content for ESS customers, enabling them to effectively promote A123's ESS offerings.
- Organize and execute client events to foster relationships and promote brand awareness.
- Curate and manage content for official social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the target audience.
- Implement strategies to enhance A123 brand awareness and perception within the European market.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in marketing and public relations roles, preferably within the technology or manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to negotiate with external organizations.
- Demonstrated creativity and proactive attitude in previous roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of core technology and its benefits, with the ability to identify unique selling points.
- Ability to think and act creatively to develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Thrives in a start-up culture with minimal or developing policies and procedures.
- Confident in sharing opinions with all levels of management.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent proficiency in both German and English languages
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe software suites for effective marketing material creation and management.
