Job Description

[Company] is looking for a highly skilled Director of Marketing and Business Development

to promote our advanced, world-class technology products and to drive new business

development for the product line globally.

Please only apply if you have industrial equipment applications and/or industrial

processing marketing experience. Marketing experience in the field of materials mixing

applications is highly desirable.

This multifunctional position emphasis will focus on developing new, undiscovered market

and sales opportunities for the Acoustic Mixer technology, as well as expanding business in

existing industrial sectors.

The Director of Marketing function of this position focuses on communication, primarily

with influencers, collection of information helpful for sales and but also for determining

customer needs. The focus includes marketing communications, product management and

project execution.

The Director of Business Development function requires a strategic approach for finding

new venues for sales and business expansion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive

knowledge of branding. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to produce

comprehensively written and well-illustrated marketing collateral and have the competence

to effectively interact with clients on a regular basis.

The successful candidate shall be a high-tech-savvy manager with extensive experience in

industrial product development, new product introduction, marketing, sales, and one who

has a ability to effectively participate in business development.

Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with the management, the marketing team and sales to uncover insights and

strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and

existing products, internally and externally.

  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue

opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by

securing new accounts.

  • Identify and quantify new market opportunities for existing products and identify new

product opportunities in existing and/or new markets.

  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the

development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections,

expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.

  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market

research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order

to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • The Director shall be responsible for generating leads, developing new opportunities, that

produces business growth. This work shall have particular emphasis for developing and

executing methods to generate additional, profitable revenue.

  • The Director shall nurture relationships with key clients, develop new relationships, and

expand the brand's presence. The responsibilities include tracking new trends, making

product recommendations, and be a driving contributor to long-term growth.

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management,

creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient

marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services.

  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of

test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and

recommendations.

  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies

and promotional programs to drive product interest and sales.

  • Hold regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and

present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently

performs above standard.

  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing

engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10 to 20 years of directly applicable experience.
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, managerial, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media

marketing.

  • Proven ability to understand complex equipment applications and clearly market them.

The position requires a versatile professional with experience in website search

optimization to include SEO and SEM tools, as well as pay per click advertising.

capabilities, effective organizational abilities and exceptional presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen to customers' needs, develop solutions to meet their

requirements, trust and respect.

relationships, and identifying new product opportunities aligned with the technology.

  • Strong strategic planning and business market intelligence capabilities.
  • Ability to combine extensive knowledge of emerging technologies with broad

organizational focus, assimilate knowledge of company technology products, applications

and manufacturing capabilities.

  • Capability to quickly grasp new technological concepts and convey their value to clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern marketing management, brand management, distribution

channels, product planning and sales forecast principles, methods and practices.

This position requires a driven, enthusiastic individual with strong business analysis skills,

proven marketing experience and the ability to work with a diverse group of associates in a

high-tech business.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. An enthusiasm for

working in a diverse, demanding and exciting emerging technology environment is crucial.

Strong work ethic and team player attributes are paramount.

The position will require working with various technologies that have applications in

several markets.

Pay: Up to $170,000.00 per year
