Job Overview:
As the Director of Marketing and Business Development, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to grow our brand and expand our presence in both existing and new markets. This multifaceted position will allow you to leverage your extensive marketing expertise, product management skills, and strategic thinking to drive new revenue opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute to long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with management, the marketing team, and sales to uncover insights and implement strategies that drive growth.
- Oversee the marketing department, identifying new business opportunities and managing consistent growth.
- Identify and quantify new market opportunities and potential new product introductions.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, including profit/loss projections, and financial considerations.
- Utilize market research, competitive analysis, and consumer trends to provide actionable insights.
- Lead the creation and execution of strategic marketing campaigns, including design, testing, tracking, and analysis of results.
- Develop and implement marketing plans, strategies, and promotional programs that drive product interest and sales.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, track trends, and provide product recommendations.
- Lead team meetings to resolve challenges, review pipelines, and provide ongoing training to ensure consistent performance.
- Represent the company at conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and presentations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications (MBA preferred).
- 10-20 years of directly applicable experience in senior marketing roles.
- Proven experience in creating marketing campaigns and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, managerial, and decision-making skills.
- Extensive experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media.
- Proven ability to understand and effectively market complex equipment and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and PPC advertising.
- Experience in high-tech industries, preferably with industrial product development and marketing.
- Strong strategic planning and market intelligence capabilities.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technological concepts and effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for emerging technology.

Pay: $78.00 - $83.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
