Job Summary: The Human Resources Associate I supports the front desk of the organization and the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks with the largest support lent to the Talent Acquisition Team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth HR operations and effective communication within the organization.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the organization
- Answer the main phone line and the HR phone line, directing calls to the appropriate person or taking messages
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Process invoices and receipts for the organization
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team with an emphasis on the Talent Management Team
- Issue visitor and contractor badges
- Maintain stock of supplies for the HR department
- Ensure the main lobby, HR conference room, and HR lobby are well-maintained
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members at all levels
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
