One of our direct client based in Durham, NC is looking to hire BigCommerce Technical Consultant/Architect.
**HYBRID role, need to be onsite 2 or 3 days/week at Durham, NC.
Must have Technical Expertise:
- Domain experience in eCommerce.
- BigCommerce Architecture, Java, and Node.js.
- Developing and delivering enterprise solutions on cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience in architecting and solutioning mid-large scale web applications.
Job Title: BigCommerce Technical Consultant/Architect
Location: Durham, NC (HYBRID, 2 or 3 days onsite per week)Description:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of e-commerce solutions.
- Manage the BigCommerce platform, including integrations, customizations, and third-party applications.
- Ensure that the platform integrates seamlessly with other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.
- Lead the design and development of custom themes, plugins, and extensions.
- Optimize and maintain existing BigCommerce stores.
- Mentor and guide developers.
- Perform code reviews to ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in BigCommerce Architecture, Java, and Node.js.
- Domain experience in eCommerce.
- Experience developing and delivering enterprise solutions on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of current trends in the eCommerce industry and the technology architecture field.
- Ability to analyze customer business objectives and functional requirements.
- Relevant Certification: Hold a certification in Java or BigCommerce Architecture to validate technical proficiency.
