Required Qualifications:
- Must be certified to teach in the Commonwealth of Virginia [27]
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in virtual instruction platforms
- Strong technology skills for online tutoring delivery
- Background check clearance required
Areas of Expertise Needed (must be qualified in one or more):
- Core subject areas
- Special education
- English language learner instruction
- Honors/Advanced placement subjects

Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Duties:
- Provide individualized and or small group tutoring
- Deliver both face-to-face and virtual instruction
- Support students' academic needs across various programs
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain student progress records
- Comply with FERPA and data privacy requirements
- Coordinate with NPS staff and teachers
- Submit required documentation and reports
- Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms
- Ability to use educational technology tools
- Maintain a secure virtual learning environment
Schedule:
- As-needed basis through March 1, 2027
- Flexible scheduling required for both in-person and virtual sessions
