Job Title : Logistics Coordinator
Job Locations : Virginia Beach Department of Health
4452 Corporation Lane, Office 250
Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Schedule :
Monday - Friday, some Saturdays depending on events
8am - 5pm, times may vary due to activities.
Payrate : 21 / hourly
Job Duties :
Candidate must have :
- A valid driver's license and ability to drive a box truck. (12 ft. long)
- Ability to work overtime for various activities outside of the agency.
- The ability to load and unload trucks.
- Assist with set ups / take downs.
- Knowledge of logistics and project management.
- Experience working in a general storeroom operations and procedures, including inventory control.
- The ability to key information into automated databases.
- Ability to lift and / or move objects and furniture up to 50 lbs.
- Minor maintenance skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with vendors, coworkers and clients.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a computer, copier, scanner and printer.
