Job Description:
- Full-time position, Salary Commission
- Responsible for building, growing and maintaining a book of business within the NYC Metro area.
- Customer Category: Healthcare/ Institutional/Long-Term Care
- Accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, annual sales and profitability goals based on Company targets.
- Reports directly to the Vice President of Sales
- Training will take place at the Bayonne, NJ office for (approx. 1-2 weeks)
- Will utilize a consultative selling approach to bring customers new innovative products, offer solutions to their problems and/or provide savings to increase profitability of the customer.
- Hunter Mentality/Road Warrior – Majority of time will be spent in front of customers
Travel:
Remote position which requires daily use of a personal vehicle. The Candidate selected will be required to spend the majority of time on the road in/front of customers within the designated geographic region. Daily travel required within the designated sales territory to visit accounts (Personal Vehicle Required)
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in an outside sales role within the Healthcare, Paper, Janitorial, Sanitation, disposables categories or similar industry.
- Experience managing and developing a territory between $2million -$10million annually.
- Proven track record of success and consistent year over year growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of selling strategies, sales principles, practices, tactics, & selling tools.
- Relationship building ability, managing, and fostering positive customer relations.
- Ability to be a team player and foster collaborative relationships in cross-functional teams within the company and with all customers.
- Ability to analyze past, present & future trends, and propose solutions that exceed customer expectations and increase the company’s economic value.
- Must have proficient writing and communication skills & must be proficient in using Excel, Power Point, and other standard software programs.
- Experience using a CRM is preferred but not required.
- Ownership of a personal vehicle
- Must hold a current valid driver’s license and private car insurance
- Background & Reference check upon acceptance of offer
