First Shift Warehouse Associate

Job Description: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a responsible and committed candidate to fill the role of Warehouse Associate at our Main Warehouse in Pontiac. The right applicant will assist the warehouse by sending products (mattresses, furniture, appliances, etc.) to various stores. Receiving damaged and returned goods and processing goods per company procedure. We are hiring for Mornings, First Shift.

ABC Warehouse was founded in 1963 with a single store in Center Line, Michigan. Since then, ABC Appliance has grown to become one of the Midwest’s largest and most successful appliance/TV/electronics/mattress and furniture retailers, with 43 locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

Warehouse Associate Duties:

· Loading and unloading trucks in a timely manner.

· Organizing and sorting products in the correct area(s) per type, style, brand, etc.

· Picking orders (via hand cart or forklift) as directed by management.

· Understanding and following warehouse procedures.

· Following safety rules; maintaining a clean and hazard free work environment.

· Cycle counting & participating in inventory activities as directed by management.

· Other products/duties assigned by management.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· Ability to follow direction

· Able to pick products in a timely and efficient manner

· Attendance and Reliability – Dependable and trustworthy

· Able to collaborate with others and work as a team

· Ability to lift 40lbs or more

· Willing to learn to drive and become Forklift Certified
