Recruitment Specialist
Responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with all aspects of the internal and external recruiting process by providing efficient, cost effective and creative recruiting recommendations that result in the employment of talented professionals.
Responsible to ensure that the staffing needs at all levels of the organization are met by finding and presenting high quality candidates to the hiring managers in a timely manner.
Responsible for handling HR administrative duties, supporting U.S. benefits administration, and providing a high level of service to employees and hiring managers.
What it entails?
- Works closely with hiring Managers to support the achievement of business goals
- Acts as a contact in the hiring process including :
- Coordinates internal and external job postings
- Sources on-line databases
- Screens resumes
- Conducts (telephone) interviews
- Discusses terms of employment, including compensation with candidates
- Coordinates interviews with hiring Managers and candidates
- Maintains database (applicant tracking system, etc.)
- Ensures Background Checks and any other pre-employment checks as required are documented, and escalating potential issues to Human Resources Manager ensuring confidentiality with all sensitive matters
- Supports the Human Resources Manager on recruitment initiatives
- Coordinates and provides support for job fairs
- Establishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources
- HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating HR systems, and generating reports as needed
- Oversee employee U.S. benefits programs, including enrolling employees, processing changes, and handling inquiries
- Serve as a point of contact for U.S. benefits-related questions and liaise with our benefits broker to ensure timely support.
- Provide support to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures
