Our client, a global 3d design software company, is actively looking for an IT Services & Support Specialist to join their support team in Royal Oak, MI! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.
***This is a 1 year initial contract with potential for long-term extension or conversion***
Responsibilities
- Install, provide L1/L2 support on Windows 10 & Linux client machines
- Support internal applications and third party application for the Americas regions
- Provide timely & quality support in keeping with company set support KPIs
- Focus on user satisfaction, connect with local business users and users at other offices
- Meet project deliverables as requested by supervisor and/or regional project manager
Qualifications:
- Ability to provide support onsite and remote (over the phone) users
- Ability to isolate, troubleshoot issues professionally and quickly in keeping with DS set KPIs
- Install, maintain and support third party applications on end-user machines (using Kace or SCCM)
- Ability to do some hands-on work on servers and network infrastructure
- Ability to prioritize and manage urgent tickets, understand and follow up on company set escalation procedures
- Engage with technically strong team members to address complex OS or application issues
- Work on local and regional projects as assigned by management
- Willingness to travel to other local offices in Michigan if needed
