Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health needs. As a BCBA, you will work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies that promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for those you serve.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related populations is preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation, patient assessment, and understanding of medical terminology is essential.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings is a plus.
