Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis, table design, ETL development, & document/review design with team ensuring solution follows best practices and standards.
- Develop ETL and reporting solutions utilizing the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) tools following the design and review process defined.
- Work in a highly collaborative BI team to implement the data management framework that improves the data quality and standards for both database structures and the warehouse repository.
- Review, understand, and document the current operational processes and data sources to establish support for current and future reporting requirements.
- Develop requirements for data mapping and ETL processes.
- Assist with the development of the data model(s) for the data warehouse, and provide recommendations for design and development of data strategies and innovative reporting solutions.
- Perform analysis and design mapping data between source systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Analyze data in source systems to assess data quality and make recommendations for addressing within the source systems or as part of the ETL process.
- Develop SSRS reports, SSAS Tabular Models, Power BI Dashboards, and other appropriate data access objects for end user reporting depending on business need.
Skills and Requirements:
- 4 years of experience with SQL Server development including complex queries, stored procedures, T-SQL, etc.
- 4 years of experience with SSIS/ETL in BI/DW environments.
- Strong experience with production support of ETL, data loads, etc.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering and data analysis.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team and to foster teamwork.
- Demonstrated understanding of system integrations and database structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SSRS, Power BI, SSAS, tabular models, etc. is highly preferred.
- Experience with Azure services are highly preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
