Job Title: Strategic Advisor
Compensation:
$70,000-$85,000 for Intermediate
$120,000 for Senior Advisor
Travel: 60%-70%
Location: Wichita, KS and Oklahoma City, OK
Summary/Objective:
This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with high-value clients to ensure engagement and satisfaction. The position requires navigating sensitive discussions and selling solutions and processes for buy-in both internally and externally to achieve the desired outcomes for both the client and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients' executive teams by understanding their business and desired outcomes, providing value to the client.
- Identify key stakeholders and establish new relationships while strengthening existing ones.
- Navigate potential conflicts with internal teams while maintaining clear communication with executive decision-makers.
- Strategy: Work closely with each client to understand their key business drivers, challenges, and opportunities, and create strategies to help them achieve long-term success.
- Continually assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align data points and ensure effective reporting for client success.
- Address client issues swiftly, focusing on long-term resolutions that increase efficiency and profitability.
- Communication/Sales: Foster strong communication across all client levels, building trust with key executives and selling them on solutions, decisions, processes, or other outcomes.
- Execute a strategic communication plan with recurring meetings and ad hoc check-ins.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external resources, navigating difficult conversations to facilitate strong partnerships and positive outcomes.
- Ability to clarify and comprehend clients’ desired outcomes or challenges and work internally to provide solutions
- Ensure client concerns are addressed effectively, providing appropriate updates and managing expectations throughout the process.
- Solution Knowledge: Collaborate with internal teams to understand high-level technical strategies and translate them for non-technical client executives.
- Work to identify the root causes of client issues and help bridge any gaps in service.
- Propose solutions to address client needs and enhance their overall experience.
- Renewals and New Business: Proactively manage client relationships and ensure issues are promptly addressed to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor client engagement and satisfaction metrics to ensure high renewal confidence.
- Identify opportunities for additional products or services to expand the client relationship.
- Seek client referrals and ensure high net promoter scores.
Other Responsibilities:
- Customer Advocacy: Provide client feedback to internal teams to improve service offerings and engagement strategies.
- Company Advocacy: Communicate internal decisions to clients to explain risks and reiterate the company's commitment to being a trusted advisor.
- Success Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like customer satisfaction and net promoter scores, reporting regularly on progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, sales, or a related field.
- Experience and knowledge in banking.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with executive-level decision-makers.
- Ability to manage challenging conversations and resolve conflicts internally and with clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
- A solid understanding of customer pain points and a commitment to fostering trust and loyalty.
- Familiarity with relevant technology and service offerings to guide clients effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously while ensuring high responsiveness.
- Strong relationship-building and sales skills to foster long-term engagements and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Capability to analyze customer data and make informed recommendations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
