Abrams Technical Services is a reputable supplier of qualified technical personnel for Engineering, Procurement and Inspection work in the oil, gas and energy industries.
Payroll Clerk
Hours: M – F 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., 1 hour for lunch
Benefits: 75% company paid health insurance – employee only, 9 paid holidays. PTO policy – 1st year accrue 100 hours PTO, eligible after 90 days, 2nd year accrue 140 hours PTO.
JOB PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
Responsible for providing support to Payroll and Accounts Payable/ Receivable departments.
DUTIE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter weekly timesheets and process payroll
Communicate with potential candidates/employees
Setting up new employees, projects and contacts
Process invoices – Weekly and Monthly
Enter employee status changes including pay, benefits, deductions, change of address and department transfers
Answer, screen, and transfer incoming phone calls
Setup background and drug screening for new candidates
Medical Insurance enrollment for new contractors and manage enrollees
Maintain Daily Cash and Cash Flow Reports
Apply A/R Payments
941’s, Multi State W/H Taxes, SUTA and FUTA filings
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Assist with year-end W-2 process and various audits
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High school diploma required and associate’s degree or higher preferred.
