Job description
Abria Detox is a newly established private facility offering 24/7 medically monitored detoxification and withdrawal management services. We specialize in treating individuals who have substance use disorders as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Our facility has 20 beds and serves male and female patients who are aged 18 and older.
This position is for a Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries about our services, providing compassionate and professional assistance to prospective clients and their families.
- Conduct initial screening assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and eligibility for admission.
- Coordinate and schedule admissions, including collecting necessary documentation and verifying insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential client records.
- Work closely with clinical and medical staff, technicians and aftercare coordination to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Follow up with clients post-admission to ensure a seamless transition and address initial concerns.
- Maintaining relationships and making/receiving referrals with ither industry programs and professionals, including but not limited to; interventionists, hospitals, treatment centers, clinics, and sober homes.
- Being knowledgeable and confident on appropriate program fit, including funding options and criteria, referring to partner programs in the event a referral out is necessary.
- Documenting all details and conversations in a variety of software systems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in admissions, front office administration, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare, substance abuse or mental health setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassion and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with substance use issues.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Alleva) and office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel, OneDrive).
