Part-Time Payroll/HR Specialist
Abscope Environmental Inc., located in Canastota, NY, has an immediate opening for a part time Payroll/HR Specialist.
Reporting to the Controller, this person would be responsible for working with our Staff Accountant in a primary back-up role processing weekly payroll, which includes gathering and importing timecards, issuing checks and direct deposits, and remitting 401(k), wage garnishments and other deductions.
In addition to acting as the back-up for payroll, this person will be instrumental in the hiring process and responsible for benefits coordination.
- Hours: 20-25 per week
- Pay: $25-$30 per hour commensurate with experience.
Qualifications: 2 years of payroll/HR experience (required), experience with Foundation would be ideal.

Able to multi-task, manage time and meet deadlines
Able to work with others and coordinate schedules and responsibilities
Able to work independently
Strong Excel and Computer skills
Reliable Attendance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
