Position Summary
As director of our catering operations, you will be at the helm, ensuring exceptional service and innovative offerings that leave a lasting impression on our clients. Your creativity and leadership will set the tone for success, working closely with our talented team to deliver exceptional events.
Primary Responsibilities
- Craft and execute captivating marketing strategies to boost catering revenues.
- Monitor and guide our Catering Sales Manager to ensure sales targets are exceeded.
- Develop comprehensive training programs for catering staff, sales managers, and F & B staff to enhance their skills.
- Create unique set-ups, menus, and event concepts tailored to each client.
- Collaborate with our Executive Chef to price specialty menus and packages.
- Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits targets in all catering areas.
- Forecast catering revenues to drive strategic decision-making.
- Showcase our offerings through effective product merchandising.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our valued clients.
- Keep detailed account records up to date and comprehensive.
- Produce, refine, and finalize Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) flawlessly.
- Lead engaging weekly BEO meetings with various departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay ahead of the competition by conducting regular market research.
- Track and analyze catering revenues and trends within the property.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence, including but limited to, those in the employee handbook.
Education and Experience
- Prior experience in catering and/or sales is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to perform multiple tasks seamlessly.
- A keen listener with a knack for understanding client needs and preference

Compensation: Salary Range $75K - $85K annually
