What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position at Acadia Behavioral Health (Pioneer Behavioral Health)?
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews daily gross revenues ensuring their accuracy as well month end close out of revenues
- Maintains A/R aging and posts all cash receipts accurately and timely
- Prepares weekly billing log ensuring all diagnosis codes and certifications have been received
- Processes itemized billings
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two years business office experience in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding in a healthcare environment
- Excellent communication skills as well as attention to detail
