Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Behavior Technician to implement individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS), you will work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions that target specific behavior goals.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community, following the behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA and PS.
- Data Collection: Accurately record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.
- Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
Requirements
To be successful as an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Previous childcare experience (highly preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive and team-player attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
