Job Summary:
Behavioral Aides work under teachers' supervision to support students with behavioral challenges. We seek a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Providing supplemental instruction to students or small groups
- Behavior: Monitoring student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors
- Social Development: Helping students build social skills and foster healthy concepts
- Clerical Tasks: Assisting teachers with materials and maintaining student records
- Problem-Solving: Participating in the Problem-Solving Model-Response to Intervention process
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 , ability to support the assigned program
- Previous experience working with children is a plus
