What are the responsibilities and job description for the SLP Clinical Operations Director position at Accel Therapies?
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to lead our clinical operations as a Speech Therapy Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of SLP services, including direct therapy, clinical quality assurance, leadership, and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Therapy: Conduct assessments and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders, create and implement individualized treatment plans, deliver therapy and interventions to enhance speech, language, and communication skills.
- Clinical Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain electronic documentation system workflow and templates related to SLP, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through regular audits, oversee referrals for relevance and timeliness of service delivery.
- Leadership: Demonstrate effective leadership in promoting other department initiatives, drive program development and performance improvement projects for the SLP service, maximize utilization of authorized client SLP sessions.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with Accel leadership to strategize the growth of the Speech service line across current markets and new markets, occasionally travel to support the SLP team and service line, cultivate relationships with community providers to establish Accel's reputation and strong referral network.
