Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in financial reporting, general ledger management, FP&A, and compliance—all while driving continuous improvements in accounting processes.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Oversee the general ledger and maintain financial integrity
✔ Prepare journal entries and ensure timely month-end close
✔ Conduct financial planning & analysis (FP&A) to drive strategic decisions
✔ Reconcile financial accounts and ensure accuracy in reporting
✔ Enhance internal controls and maintain compliance standards
✔ Support SOX compliance and uphold financial best practices
✔ Leverage ERP systems (AS400 Legacy preferred) for seamless reporting
What You Bring:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
✅ 5 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
✅ Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
✅ Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills
✅ Experience with ERP systems – AS400 Legacy is a plus
