Summary: Seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in manufacturing environments to manage general ledger, perform financial analysis, and support business processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Staff/General Ledger Accountant or Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment
- AS400 Legacy ERP experience
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office, and PDF skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial statements, and financial analysis methods
Preferred Skills:
- Experience partnering with internal business clients for budgeting and forecasting
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and monthly book closing
- Perform ad hoc project analysis as determined by the Controller
- Collaborate with key members of the organization
- Assist in updating and implementing company policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to enhance fiduciary leadership and internal controls
- Support and improve business processes and accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley regulations
- Prepare interpretive analysis of business performance for management
