Program Specialist - Operations
The Program Specialist is able to function independently, develop and implement systems and processes, coordinate and manage workgroups, and workflow projects, establish timelines and stay on task. The Program Specialist has strong attention to detail and is able to be flexible and reprioritize as necessary. The Program Specialist ensures confidential information is handled with extreme sensitivity and interacts with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This position is able to prioritize tasks and activities and utilizes excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Program Specialist requires effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position utilizes Microsoft Office products, databases, and other software on a daily basis. The Program Specialist participates in professional associations and professional development opportunities as applicable.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to navigate database and other software programs as needed.
- Proficient business writing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Project coordination/project management experience.
