Access Ohio, one of the leading community mental health agencies in Central and Southern Ohio is hiring a Full time Case Manager to provide CPST (community psychiatric supportive treatment) for our Dayton area outpatient office.
This position will give you the opportunity to become an integral part of a team of providers that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, of all ages. You will also have the opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on the community in which you serve.
* Bachelor’s or Master's degree in social work/psychology OR associates degree in human services/substance abuse preferred. Will consider experienced case managers with demonstrated work performance and no degree.
*CDCA not required.

- Knowledge & Skill:
- Strong knowledge of wellness, recovery and self-help Effective communication and written skills are essential.
- Great customer service skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Experience understanding and utilizing various evidence-based models and theories pertaining to psycho-education, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness and recovery
- Knowledge of community treatment, family community support services such as NAMI, and community resources.
- Proficient in utilizing and adapting to technology such as Microsoft Office, scanning and image transfer and electronic health records.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and client populations.
Requirements:
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with no more than 2 points
- Reliable transportation and willingness to transport clients.
- Current automobile liability insurance.
- Clean urine drug screen upon hire.
- Background check upon hire.
- Obtain and approved Ohio Department of Medicaid provider agreement and updated to include agency-level association within 3 days of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
