Job Overview: The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable business transactions of the Companies / Portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Manage processing of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations of bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information.
Process Improvement
- Review and analyze the performance of various procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
Month-End, Year-End, & Annual Audit
- Assist with month-end close process.
- Assist with year-end close process.
- Assist with the annual audit process.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- STRONG Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
