Fennemore has an excellent opportunity in our Phoenix, Arizona office for a full-time JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented and aid our accounting team in contributing to our firm's financial success. This position reports to our Controller and is based out of our Phoenix office. After an initial period of in-office support, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare / Review reconciliation (Bank, Balance Sheet, Vendor, etc.)
- Reconciles bank accounts, credit card statements, and other records;
- Assisting with daily check deposits;
- Assists in maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries;
- Assist in the month-end close process;
- Assist in responding to inquiries related to accounting codes;
- Serve as a backup for team members; and
- Other duties as assigned.
